Ruth and Naomi - the Book of Ruth, lived together in a same-gender family of choice. They also raised a child who was the grandfather of King David. God, therefore, intended for their relationship to be in the line of Jesus, who would "inherit the throne of his father, David." (Luke 1:32)

Naomi and Ruth seem to have had sex with both men and women.
